Mythical Creature

For my advanced Photoshop class, we were tasked to turn ourselves into any mythical, scary creature of our choice. I was inspired by the gritty TV drama, The Walking Dead, which portrays society and life in the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse and the end of the world.

Mac Miller Feature Spread

For my advanced photoshop class, we were tasked to create a Rolling Stone feature article spread featuring any celebrity of our choosing. I chose Mac Miller, an American rapper and record producer who touched the lives of millions. On September 7, 2018, Miller passed away from an accidental drug overdose at the age of 26. Miller’s powerful songwriting lives on, and he is still known to this day for his open and honest lyrics, which explore his struggles with love, depression, addiction, and substance abuse. He lives on as one of the most iconic and well-loved rap artists of all time.

Wells Book Jacket

For my advanced photoshop class, we were tasked to create a custom book jacket for any story written by English writer, H.G. Wells. My chosen story, The Sleeper Awakes, is a dystopian science fiction novel about a man who sleeps for two hundred and three years, waking completely transformed in London where he has become the wealthiest man in the world. The main character awakes to see his dreams realized, and the future revealed to him in all its horrors.

Euphoria Vinyl Design

Created with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, my vinyl design features the imagery and soundtrack from the American teen drama television series, Euphoria, created and principally written by Sam Levinson for HBO. Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma and social media.

Alvin Ailey Dance Festival

Created with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I created a design for the Alvin Ailey Modern Dance Festival in New York City. The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater was founded in 1958, and is dedicated to enriching the American modern dance heritage and preserving the uniqueness of the African-American cultural experience.
